Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of Kaevo, an application and related service operated by Kaevo Media.

Your media and services

Kaevo does not include, sell, host, or provide movies or television shows. You are responsible for a compatible self-hosted media server, any optional third-party services, and the lawful right to access and use all media, artwork, metadata, and services you connect to Kaevo.

Your account

You are responsible for your account, devices, household members, passwords, profile PINs, invitations, and Guest Passes. Do not share secrets, tokens, claim codes, or administrator credentials. You must provide accurate information and promptly protect or revoke access you no longer authorize.

Subscriptions

Kaevo may offer monthly auto-renewable memberships through Apple. The price, billing period, included features, introductory offer if any, and renewal terms shown in the app and App Store at purchase govern the transaction. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. A subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting Kaevo or a Kaevo account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.

Local Individual includes home-network access for one Kaevo profile. Local Family adds multiple household profiles and designated local Family features, but not remote Cloud Access or Family Sync. Cloud Individual includes remote Cloud Access for one profile and no Family-only features. Cloud Family includes remote Cloud Access, household features, and Family Sync within documented limits.

Acceptable use

You may not use Kaevo to violate law, infringe rights, gain unauthorized access, distribute malicious code, interfere with services, bypass security or subscription controls, or expose another person's private media, account, or household information.

Third-party services

Kaevo interoperates with services not operated by Kaevo Media. Their availability, performance, content, terms, and privacy practices are outside our control. Kaevo is not affiliated with Jellyfin and does not guarantee compatibility with every server, plugin, network, media format, or third-party service.

Availability and changes

Features may depend on device, operating system, plan, server, plugin, network, region, and third-party availability. We may maintain, modify, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary. Applicable consumer rights remain unaffected.

Disclaimers and liability

Kaevo is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every configuration. To the extent permitted by law, Kaevo Media is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, loss of data, unauthorized third-party service access, or inability to access user-operated infrastructure. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

Termination

You may stop using Kaevo at any time and may initiate account deletion from Settings > Kaevo Account > Delete Kaevo Account. We may restrict access for material misuse, security risk, nonpayment, or legal necessity, subject to applicable law.
